About Bridget Fahey

Bridget Fahey became Deputy Regional Director in 2023. During Fahey’s 25-year career with the Service, she has worked at all levels of the agency – from field biologist to acting Assistant Director of International Affairs – in four regions and across multiple programs. Coming to the Pacific Region from the headquarters office as the Chief of the Division of Conservation and Classification, Fahey has extensive experience working on national and regional policies and issues. Fahey has a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University where she majored in biology and anthropology, and a master’s degree in conservation biology from University of Michigan. She is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania.
