Fishing pier at Dale Hollow damaged by trees

Heavy spring rains felled another 4 large trees at Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery in May 2024. The creek trees and recreation area has been hit hard by storms over the last three years. Recovery efforts have been limited to partial repairs, tree bucking/felling/removal, and tons of debris removal. The new damage to the fishing pier will be a challenge to address
